STACY E. MILLER, DDS, MS, PA – Providing excellent orthodontics to the Lakeway, TX area and surrounding communities since 1996.
Dr. Miller's educational path took her from her hometown of Gonzales, TX to Texas A&M University. After obtaining early acceptance into dental school, she chose to attend dental school at the University of Texas Heath Science Center in San Antonio. While at UTHSC at San Antonio, ranked by Newsweek magazine as the Number One Dental School in the U.S., Dr. Miller was in the Clinical Honors Program (an advanced curriculum for top dental students). In 1994, she graduated Summa Cum Laude and she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After her induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (dental honor fraternity) and receiving the Excellence in Clinical Dentistry Award, Dr. Miller began her Residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. During her residency, Dr. Miller was recognized with the Milo T. Hellman Award for Outstanding Resident. In 1996, she obtained her Master of Science in Oral Biology and Certificate of Specialization in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. She has been honored with the Texas Monthly Magazine title of 'Texas SuperDentist'. She is currently co-president of the Austin Orthodontic Study Group. Dr. Miller is Board Certified in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
When Dr. Miller is not working with patients, dentists and other specialists to create healthy smiles she enjoys being an active member of the community and supports many area schools, organizations, events and charities. She and her husband Brian reside in Lakeway with their Bengal cat ‘Napa’. All three of them enjoy spending some free time on the family cattle ranch in Gonzales. You might spot them in your neighborhood swimming in Lake Travis (or the Low Water Crossing, or the Lakeway Pool or anywhere else there is water), cycling all over Texas, or running the roads and trails. Dr. Miller is a two-time Ironman triathlon finisher, and 'survivor' of the legendary Escape From Alcatraz triathlon.
