Financial Info
Our financial coordinator will meet with you at the consultation appointment (First Visits Page) to discuss your orthodontic fee, financing options, insurance coverage and length of payment plans. Our most popular payment plan is one that consists of a 25% down payment and equal monthly payments of the remainder over the course of treatment. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover as acceptable forms of payment.
Insurance
Traditional Insurance:
If you have insurance, please be sure and provide us with accurate insurance information. This will allow us to develop a payment plan for treatment that will maximize your insurance benefit and to structure payments (for the balance) that will fit your budget. Orthodontic benefits have become an increasingly popular dental insurance benefit. Orthodontic benefits are usually paid as a lifetime benefit (i.e. when you have achieved a certain dollar amount, you have no further benefit under that plan). They also usually have a 50% co-pay (i.e. to achieve a $1.00 payment by the insurance company toward the treatment fee, $2.00 must be billed by the orthodontist).
Flexible Spending Accounts/HSA's:
Many employers offer a plan where pre-tax dollars can be set aside once a year for medical expenses commonly referred to as 'Flex' or 'Cafeteria' plans. Orthodontic treatment is a good way to maximize this benefit. Once your orthodontic treatment plan is established (after diagnostic records are obtained), we can help you determine the best way to fund these accounts.
With your assistance, we can make orthodontics affordable to anyone who truly desires our services.
